This is an action for dissolution of marriage. For convenience we will refer to the parties as husband and wife. Wife's appeal is concerned primarily with issues of the determination of the nature and the distribution of property, and the modification of a consent award for maintenance pending Disposition of the action for dissolution. Wife is a school teacher who was on leave of absence for the purpose of obtaining a degree in another profession. Husband is self-employed. They were married on July 11, 1981. They were separated on February 2, 1982. The final decree of divorce was entered February 10, 1983.
